Blavock Shayan
You are a Human Warrior working for an Unseelie Boggan.
He has promised you a seat on the Unseelie Court if you can bring down 25 bodies into the sacred town pool.
You met him during the battle of Agincourt. You were going to die when he found you and offered you eternal life if you did his bidding or he would spare you the indignity of dying in retreat and eat your soul. At first you just thought it was the loss of blood but you said, “ Fine, my family would disown me if they knew I retreated.”
When you woke up you were in a cave and you saw this odd man chewing on what looked like soft deer meat. Upon closer inspection you noticed that he was pulling this ‘meat’ off of bodies he had in a pile in a corner, even though no flesh seemed to be actually coming off of the bones of these dead warriors who died with you. You saw the bodies of both sides as well. “C’mere young Blavock, taste Eternity!” He said with a smile. You realized that you had come in contact with the dreaded Daoine Sidhe (death fairy) but this guy never liked it when you called him that, he was insistent that he was a Boggan and you ‘damned better get to thinking that way’.
He also told you he did you a favor and woke you up from your ‘bad dream’ that had you running off like some silly Pooka. In time you did realize that you are indeed a Sidhe but by making this contract of not dying to this Boggan that you turned your back on the Spring and now work the Will of the Fall.
You still don’t have a permanent seat on the court as of yet but if you can bring 25 freshly dead bodies to defile the sacred pool of Cavan (that the Pooka and Sidhe created) you will have a permanent seat. Oh did we mention that you can’t kill them yourself because your weapons cannot kill anyone (though they DO weaken them). You have to get others to do the ‘final act’ as they say in Arcadia. It is better to at least plan destruction than to just randomly follow it around like you have for 7 years.
A Fae has weaknesses though; Magic and Cold Steel...which of the latter there is plenty to go around. Thankfully due to the influence of the Catholic ‘Church’ there are many that no longer believe in the power of magic…even though it does exist and works damned well thank you.
If other things than cold steel ‘kill’ you, you will ‘miraculously’ recover from your mortal wounds. This may make you seem like a miracle but you have seen many times that most priests will blow it off as luck and run away. Of course the dreams you give them when they are asleep seem to help this…
