Cormac O’Reilly (1421)

Cormac O’Reilly
O’Reilly Clan leader, Irish Leader
Ghoul and husband to Úma O’Reilly (nee Úma Noir)

You were born into the O’Reilly clan, the strongest in the Cavan/Meath area. Over the last 20 years, your clan expanded its influence. 5 years ago you fell in love with the sexiest woman you had ever seen – Úma Noir – too bad she was a Vampire. She quickly ghouled you and forced you into marriage, and you are her minion. Now, She pulls the strings and you get the headaches.

Your people are starving from a famine that has taken grip over the lands in Ireland. The only place left to get any food is Dublin. Luckily, a plague has stricken that town and they need water. Your wife has arranged a meeting with the Lord of Norman Ireland. The meetings will be held under the auspices of a Jousting competition. As a gesture of good will, you have offered to get rid of your sister (Generis) as the prize.

As for your family, you aren’t sure what it is about Generis, but you are sure that your faithful guard Cellach will find out. She keeps weird hours, and so long as she doesn’t make a scene, you don’t care. Recently, she began to press you with rather specific questions about farmers and their land holdings. Marrying her off once and for all will shut her up. Your brother Lugaid is a priest. Niall is another brother, and entered himself in the Joust. You figure if he wins, he’ll just sell your sister to the highest bidder.

You lead 4 clans. Your own, the Kelly’s, O’Toole’s, and O’Casey’s.

The Kelly’s are Toreador vampires. They are traditional Irish with virtually no influence from the Norman and English. In fact, they openly hate them. They have entered Áed into the Joust, and you are not sure if people facing him will live. You know that Úna can only protect you for so long. The only things that keep you in power over them so far is your ability to function during the day and your Clan’s faith in the one true God.

The O’Toole’s have lived in Meath as long as anyone can remember. You promised Bressal a land title if he can win the Joust. He might stake Áed in the process. When you don’t have the Kelly’s to worry about at night, the O’Toole’s give you grief during the day. On this trip, you can expect it from both of them. You might be able to shut them up by marrying Niall to the O’Toole lady Áine. The one you have to watch out for though, is Fergus, the crazed Malkavian.

Last, there are the O’Casey’s. Some like the English, some hate them, and then there are the twins – Dearbháil and Gráinne. They have a sewing circle with your sister Generis. All you know is that you’d love to have them as your mistresses. From what you understand, Cináed Lynch – a Malkavian straggler of the O’Casey’s – has a few Welshmen coming in to visit. You need to secure those Welsh in case the shit hits the fan with the English.

Good luck keeping it all together…
