Guy leBlanc (1421)

Guy leBlanc
7th generation Cappadocian Vampire
“Advisor” to Lord Moyglare (Lord of Norman Ireland, importation minister to Dublin)
Sire to Úna O’Reilly

You can barely remember when you were let loose on the world, some 150 years ago. It has been a glorious century for the Cappadocians, lovers of death, and loners in the world. You, however, are a different breed. By teaming with a female, you have been able to wreak havoc on a scale that only Mother Nature can rival. Your partner is going by the name Úna O’Reilly, and it has taken you both about 10 years to put yourselves in this position. You were hanging out in the court of Henry V when he assigned a no name (Moyglare) to rule Norman Ireland. As you were about to approach him, orders came down for the invasion of France. As fate would have it, a French sword struck down the slug you were following after they invaded the base camp. You let him suffer for about 5 or 6 hours and then offered him the chance to be your ghoul. He accepted.

Now you are his “advisor” in Dublin. By the time you arrived in Ireland, Úna had placed herself with the leader of the O’Reilly’s and the Normans no longer existed thanks to her and her ghoul. This left you in a fairly weak position and pissed you off to no end. You let Úna know about it in no uncertain terms. During the beat down, Úna devised a plan. She would use her contacts to hire the witches in Ireland proper to start a famine in the fields and put you in touch with an obscure Christian sect in Dublin to start a plague (they had grown tired of being persecuted by English). Once the plan was started, you would hire the fanatics to stop the famine (since it was a travesty against nature) and she would hire the witches to stop the plague (since it was obviously of magical origin).

Well, everything is going better than planned. The Irish want to import barley from England and the English in Dublin want to bring in fresh water from Ireland. More than that, Sarra Brennan (the Tremere Prince) approached you and asked if you could arrange something with the Irish, since Malkavians were entering the city in a most unwelcome fashion. So you and Úna arranged a meeting in Dun Boyne, just beyond the Pale. The pretense for the meeting is a jousting match and dance. The Irish leader has put his daughter up as the prize, making it a very important event. Given that all of the petty families of Dublin (human and kindred) are coming to demand land, marriages, and revenge, death and mayhem are sure to break out there.

It is your job to make negotiations between Lord Moyglare and the O’Reilly’s as long and protracted as possible to quietly incite the Irish to war. If that doesn’t work, you will have him raise taxes on all “non-citizens” (Irish) tomorrow night. Also, you can have him demand tribute in the form of money or one able bodied male to ship off to the Burgundians.

As an “ace in the hole”, you know full well that Isabella (Lady Moyglare) has been carrying on an affair with one of the family’s most trusted guards, William Hughes, for at least 6 years and basically fucks anything that moves.

What is this?
