SLUGS at Archon 06 and Archon 07 a 2-part game?

I was browsing the SLUGS forums and ran across this quote from Britt (El Jefe):

"The LARP that we run at Archon is based on the old WoD but we are in our final phase (this game is a 2 part, 2 year game). After that we don't know what we will do. We are still waiting to see if there would be enough support for the New WoD for us to continue that line..."

That's exciting news! Will players be able to play the same character both years if they don't die?

UPDATE:

Here is Britt's responce, "we'll never tell.
even if you 'make' me drink too much on thursday night at the con:)
we plans for you all...heheheh telling you would ruin the fun:)
remember each year is self contained even if the game at NASFiC is considered 'part 2'.
the standard rules apply to each year"

Bernard Smith (1421)

Bernard Smith
10th Generation Venture

You came to this forsaken backwater of a city named Dublin about 15 years ago. You were fleeing trouble in London, namely that find out that you had commit diablerie on a pompous 9th generation Toreador that had the nerve to insult your honor. You manage to get out of London just ahead of the shit storm. You landed in Dublin where a windbag by the name of Reginald needed a little muscle. You figured that no one would find you here for a few years. To be accepted by Reginald, he forced you to make a blood bond with him (1st level).

15 years have gone by and Reginald is still plotting the take over the city once again. He says the Ventrue controlled it 5 years before you arrived, until Sarra Brennan killed the Ventrue leader. The Tremere became too powerful after that, using an army of ghouls to take the city. The Tremere are nothing but bad news. They brought the plague and witchcraft to London, and you are absolutely sure that they have done the same here.

Currently, Easter Ireland is a land in turmoil. The Irish are experiencing a famine while the English holed up in Dublin are being hit with a plague. This seems like too much of a coincidence that both are happening at the same time. Reginald agrees and thinks that this weekend will provide an opportunity to do something about it. There is a dance/joust being held in the town of Dun Boyne, and both English and Irish elite will be there. This includes Sarra Brennan and her flunkies.

So you and a few of Reginald’s entourage are off to the joust being set up by one of the Irish leaders. Your fellow Venture brother, Nicholas Burke, will be doing the honors of kicking the mortals’ asses in the event. Reginald’s lackey or ghoul, David Walsh will also be coming along to make sure the he can sleep well during the day. The last person in the party will be the magician Adam Smith. He claims to be a “priest”, but you think it is a load of shit. That man’s as much a heretic as you are in the eyes of God. You’re not sure why Reginald keeps him around, but the enemy of my enemy is my friend...or so the saying goes.

In the mean time, you feel that you have done your penance is this backwater. So, if Reginald doesn’t actually do something about the leadership of Dublin, it will be time to make an escape. If possible, you might be able to acquire a little more power in all the chaos. It worked for you last time, why not this time. Then you can move on to a place with a little more culture than the hellish whine of bagpipes. You intend to make your next stop a town where the peasants are properly cowed and they know how to treat a lord right.

If Reginald doesn’t move, then it’ll be up to you to take care of business. If he doesn’t take care of Sarra and her flunkies, you will. And then you will take care of him.

What is this?
